Konami has whipped up a new trailer for Order of Ecclesia, the latest DS title in the long-running Castlevania series. In it, female protagonist Shinoa can be seen taking advantage of collectible magic powers known as Glyphs.

The new, old-school platformer will hit North America on October 21.

Konami today released new screenshots of its upcoming Castlevania vehicles, Castlevania Judgment and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. The traditional, side-scrolling Order of Ecclesia is scheduled for an October 21 release on the Nintendo DS.

The 3D fighting title Castlevania Judgment is set to arrive later this fall on the Wii, filling a gaping hole in the console's vampire fighting game lineup.

Publisher Konami has issued a truckload of media to accompany today's E3 festivities.

Included in the screenshot explosion are Castlevania Wii and DS, Rock Revolution, Lost in Blue Wii, Silent Hill 5, Time Hollow, New International Track and Field, and more.

A new Castlevania entry on the Nintendo DS, the previously uncovered Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, is scheduled for a fall release in North America, series producer Koji Igarashi announced at Konami's press event last night.

Following its press event last night, publisher Konami has unleashed a bonanza of new media, including screenshots of Hellboy: The Science of Evil (PS3, X360, PSP), Lost in Blue (Wii), and New International Track and Field (NDS).

A new listing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's website indicates that a new title in Konami's long-running Castlevania series is heading to the Nintendo DS.

Entitled Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the title was also recently discovered in an entry in the US Patent and Trademark Office's database which revealed the game's title and logo.

Previous Castlevania appearances on the Nintendo DS platform include Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, released in 2005 and 2006, respectively. A third title in the 2D adventure series was confirmed as in development by series producer Koji Igarashi last year.

Shacknews has reached Konami for confirmation, but has not heard back as of this writing.
